Overview

Focus Mode HQ ("this site," "we," "us") is a resource hub recommending books, audiobooks, programs and tools related to mindset, discipline, habits, focus and personal growth. This policy explains what happens with your data when you visit this site or use the Contact form.

Information Collected Through the Contact Form

If you use the Contact form, we collect the information you submit: your name, email address, subject, and message. This information is sent to our third-party form processor, which delivers it to us by email — see "Third-Party Form Processing" below.

We do not require you to create an account, and the contact form is the only place on this site where you are asked to submit personal information directly.

How We Use Contact Information

Information submitted through the Contact form is used solely to read, respond to, and keep a record of your inquiry. We do not use it for marketing, add you to a mailing list, or sell or rent it to third parties.

Third-Party Form Processing

The Contact form is processed by a third-party form service (Formspree), which receives your submission and delivers it to our inbox. Formspree processes this data on our behalf and has its own privacy policy governing how it handles and retains submissions — see Formspree's Privacy Policy.

Technical Information

Like most websites, the hosting provider serving these pages may automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operational purposes. This happens at the hosting/server level, not through code on this site.

Cookies

This site does not set its own cookies. Submitting the Contact form sends your data directly to our third-party form processor (Formspree) and, if reCAPTCHA is active on the form, to Google reCAPTCHA — both may use cookies or similar identifiers as part of their own spam-prevention systems, governed by their respective privacy policies linked in this page.

Google reCAPTCHA

The Contact form may use Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent automated spam submissions. When reCAPTCHA is active, Google processes technical information (such as your IP address and browser data) to assess whether a submission is likely automated, subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. If reCAPTCHA is not currently active on the form, this processing does not occur.

Analytics & Tracking

The site's code includes optional hooks that would forward interaction events (such as which resource link was clicked) to an analytics tool (such as Google Analytics or Plausible) if one is installed. As of this writing, no analytics or tracking script is loaded on the site, so no such data is currently being collected or sent anywhere. If an analytics tool is added later, this section will be updated to name it and describe what it collects.

Third-Party Fonts

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font from Google's servers means your browser makes a request to Google, which may log standard technical information such as your IP address, subject to Google's own privacy policy.

Affiliate Links, Retailer Links & Third-Party Sites

This site contains links to third-party websites, including retailers such as Amazon and Audible, and the personal-development platform Mindvalley. Some of these links may be affiliate links, meaning Focus Mode HQ may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you — see the Affiliate Disclosure for details on which relationships are currently active. Not every external link on this site is an affiliate link.

When you click through to a third-party site — whether it's a retailer, Mindvalley, or our form processor — that site's own privacy policy and data practices apply, not this one. This site does not control, and is not responsible for, how those third parties handle your data.

Data Retention & Security

We retain Contact form submissions only for as long as needed to respond to and keep a reasonable record of your inquiry. We take reasonable steps to protect information sent through this site, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the Contact form, please contact us using the details below so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy
